Who We Are

Many of us experience trauma throughout our lives. In May 2022, we established the organization to assist those who wish to return to healthy lives but lack the tools or means to do so. With the outbreak of the "Iron Swords" war, there was a sharp increase in requests from combatants on the front lines, and the organization mobilized to provide intensive support. The requests revealed a shortage of tailored frameworks for post-trauma victims and a need for special assistance to cope and return to life. The organization provides mental, physical, social, and emotional support to security forces personnel, with an emphasis on war casualties, while maintaining their privacy. Its activities are made possible thanks to donors, funds, and the Ministry of Defense.

Community

The community is made up of all segments of the social spectrum. The community was formed following bonding events, "Fifth Procedures," joint training that the heroes undergo together, and more. At the association's home, connections are created that turn into a warm, embracing, and inclusive community.

The vision and purpose of the organization

To establish a nationwide center for physical and mental growth for soldiers suffering from PTSD and mental health challenges, fostering collaborations with associations, academic institutions, and research organizations in Israel and abroad. The goal is to become a leading partner in reintegrating participants into society and employment while strengthening Israel’s resilience.
"A home for returning to life" – Providing a holistic professional framework for those in need of change, helping them overcome difficulties, and guiding them toward a meaningful life with faith in their ability to achieve self-fulfillment.

Uniqueness – the bond between body and mind

The intervention model in the process of returning to life combines steps, goals, and a diverse toolbox, recognized and appreciated today by hundreds of soldiers and fighters experiencing post-trauma and other adaptation difficulties. The model is based on "Tzuri's story," the story of a hero who returned from the stations of hell in his life and managed to identify, even from the darkness and the torn noose, "the thing," the light that helps him today to take another step on the way to victory.

Zuriel's story

Zuriel Friedman is a former outstanding athlete and an IDF disabled veteran dealing with severe PTSD and physical limitations. His personal struggle led him to establish an association that provides tools for overcoming and growing from trauma, enabling participants to lead meaningful and victorious lives.Zuriel went through a long rehabilitation journey, during which doctors told him he would never run again. After several near-death experiences, he reached a turning point where he chose life, decided to rehabilitate, and dedicated himself to helping as many people as possible. He ultimately defied the odds, returning to competitive running and winning races.Following his last suicide attempt, Zuriel wrote a "Life Will" in which he promised:"I will do everything to ensure that no one reaches the lowest point I was in."In recent years, Zuriel has mentored nearly 5,000 trainees, students, and soldiers through group fitness training, personal coaching, and empowerment workshops. He lectures across Israel about his personal journey and volunteers with special-needs children and at-risk youth.Zuriel holds a B.Ed. degree in education, is a certified mental coach, specializing in children with special needs, and has various qualifications in advanced fitness training. In recent years, he has also studied subconscious therapy and founded the "Life Triangle" method, which has become the association's flagship approach. The association is his life’s work, established to provide high-quality and professional tools for those who choose life but struggle to move forward, without replacing medical treatment or adding unnecessary bureaucracy.
