Tzuriel Friedman, a former elite athlete and disabled IDF veteran, lived for years with severe PTSD and lasting physical injury. What began as a physical wound became a profound inner battle one that nearly cost him his life. Where many fall, Tzuriel chose to live. Doctors told him he would never run again. More than once, he stood at the edge of giving up. Then came the defining moment- the choice to live. At his lowest point, Tzuriel wrote what he later called his “Life Will”: ״.I will do everything in my power so that no one ever has to stand alone where I once stood““ That promise became the foundation of his life’s work. Against all odds, Tzuriel rebuilt his body, mind, and belief. He returned to running and went on to win competitions- but more importantly, he returned to lead others. Over the years, he has guided nearly 5,000 trainees, students, and soldiers through physical training, boxing, mental resilience processes, and empowerment programs across Israel. Drawing directly from lived experience, he developed the Life Triangle Method- Faith, Responsibility, and Choice, which today forms the backbone of Grow As Winners. Our nonprofit is Tzuriel’s life mission: a place that delivers professional, personalized tools without bureaucracy, delay, or judgment to those who choose life and seek a path to grow beyond trauma.
